Contacts
Trinergy 2.0 application enables your institution to store all your business entities within its contact repository. Your user can easily define and collaborate with investors, churches, prospects, banks, and vendors in a customized CRM system.
Being relational in scope, each contact can have an unlimited number of related information elements, such as comments, associated people within an organization (church, charity, other types), addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, attributes, account bases, and financial profiles.
Accounts
The comprehensive nature of Trinergy 2.0 application supports any type of account which your institution may serve its customer member base. The system structures accounts into groups relating to a primary owner of the accounts. It identifies each account group with a base account number. The actual account is composed of the account base number and an account suffix. The suffix represents the account type, designated to your specifications, and its processing characteristics defined within the system. To retain historical information on closed accounts, the system also supports an account tracer. This enables retrieval of paid up loans, expired certificates, as well as any closed account information.
Account Classification
AMI Trinergy 2.0 supports different classifications of accounts:
- On-Demand Savings Accounts: these accounts may post deposit and withdrawals as demanded by the authorized account owner (primary and joint). They may include any type of IRA account, HSA account, escrow account, charity account. You can also apply these types of accounts for accumulating funds to satisfy an investment certificate monetary requirement.
- Foundation Accounts: these accounts relate to a foundation structure, providing specific identifying formats. The may include planned giving accounts, bequests, annuities, donor advised funds, unit trusts, life insurance, and other agreement related accounts which conform to a planned giving environment for your investors and donors.
- Investment Certificate Account: these are term accounts where the account owner cannot withdraw funds until the certificate term matures, else, the system may automatically assess a penalty.
- Loan Accounts: the primary purpose of a church extension fund is to help its denominational churches grow by focusing on loans. Trinergy’s comprehensive nature enables your institution to offer consumer, line of credit, construction, mortgage, adjustable-rate mortgage, and participation loans to serve your community.
- Other Accounts: these are accounts which do not represent funds within your institution, but the system measures them in the context of their operations. These accounts represent allocated funds by investors for participation loans.
Account Type
Within each account classification your institution can further define account types, which represent a unique categorization of certain processing features. For example – 1-year ARM loan, 3-year ARM loan, 5-year ARM loan would represent three different account types. With each account type, you can specific distinct characteristics, which the system automatically copies when creating a new account, simplifying the creation process, with effective results.
The system retains all closed accounts permanently. You can recall their information on demand, which provides an effective audit infrastructure.
Financial Operations
Financial operations within the AMI Trinergy 2.0 application are very comprehensive. The chart of accounts includes branch or profit center reporting capabilities with consolidated measurements.
The system’s posting activity summarizes all the member account transactions as journal entries, which the system automatically posts them to the general ledger accounts during the daily batch process run at end of day. The system retains all the posted transactions permanently, which you can easily retrieve for reporting or audit purposes.
For financial institutions, which must use another universal general ledger system due to consolidation with another organization, the system can be set up to export the journal entries according to the other system’s specifications.
Financial operations also include a complete accounts payable process (including open payables with automatic check process), fixed asset depreciation allocation, recurring accrued items, and recurring pre-paid expenses.
Reporting
AMI Trinergy 2.0 application provides standard reports, where you can design specific versions, each with different selection and characteristic definitions. A variety of reports can be set up to produce automatically at specified intervals. The system produces all reports in PDF format and then automatically archives them for historical reference. The system also archives all receipts, notices, and statements. You can easily retrieve the archived information, save it to your PC, print it, or email it to another recipient. The system stores all systems created reports in specific folders relating to the produced date, for you to easily identify them for your use.
